Using long-exposure technique the artist arbitrarily decided to capture nature in motion, thus offering a multi-sensory experience from a visual, tactile and even audible perspective. Each picture possess a distinctive directional dynamism which makes it one of a kind: leaves are either nervously spiraling, gently waving left to right, compressing towards an undefinable centre, violently zig-zagging towards the ground.
This is the work of a photographer who observes the world with the sensitivity of a painter. Undoubtedly the collection can be associated with at least two art movements of the recent past. Firstly with the works of Impressionism masters, in a quest to capture life while it’s happening, in its instantaneous, imperfect beauty and secondly with the painting and sculptures of Futurism artists, mesmerized by the fast pace of modern life.
